Basically, I haven't posted anything in a really, really, REALLY long time.
I'm sorry. School started and--although it's my senior year--I had, and have, a lot more work than I had ever had before. It's all very stressful.
Again: I'm sorry! I'll really try to post more often this time. Current Mood: anxious

I finished taking Drivers Ed already, so soon--hopefully--I'll take my road test and terrorize the world with my insane driving. My mom gets too nervous when I drive, so I had to take the passenger seat when we drove to my grandma's apartment today.
So my mom was driving and we stopped at a red light when SUDDENLY there was a loud BAM from the back of the car. We pulled over to the side of the road--a very narrow, two lane road actually--and my mom got out of the car. It turns out this girl--she is four years older than I, but obviously I'm the better driver since I've never been in an accident--rear-ended my mom's car. Luckily, everyone was alright and our car didn't suffer too much damage. However, the bumper on the other car fell off--too bad for her, it's not our fault.
Then I got to call the police! Yaaaaaay! And a car came in less than five minutes, too. It was pretty cool having the police there, because it was such a minor accident. Anyways, my mom and the girl exchanged insurances and other stuff.
Random fact: The police officer was a LEFTY! Current Mood: giddy

Ohayo! I'm back from my trip to Seattle, Washington and...ALASKA!
Yes, you read it right...Alaska! The cold, cold north! Except, it was quite sunny and warm. All in all, it was a terrific vacation. But it's very late right now and I'm too hyper to type so I'll have to talk more about it another time.
Goodnight! Current Mood: tired

I keep trying to post more, but I'm just so busy this summer! There's Driver's Ed, SAT prep (-sigh- I have to take it AGAIN), cleaning my room (slowly but surely), and sleeping.
I'll be on vacation next week so I should have an interesting post about that after I come back. I'm not telling you where I'm going though, so you'll all have to guess. Nyah!
I have KASUGAI gummies! Yes, you're all jealous, I know, tee-hee. ^--^ Current Mood: productive

|"I love you like I have strabismus, Padme!"
This past weekend I went to Arie's family house in the Poconos. It was super-uber-crazy-hyper fun!
We went out in a canoe on the lake and there was KILLER SEAWEED! I kid you not. Oh, and we went across a beaver dam in the forest! And there was plumbing this time! (Eh...long story).
AND: We bought Star Wars action figures (Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Palpatine) and made cute/disturbing stop-action movies with them! Like Palpatine and his crazy rap thing. ^--^ Arrr, I want to make more movies!
*Waves her hand in the air.* You WILL call me, Arikin. Current Mood: good

I just got back from the nation's capitol...WASHINGTON D.C.
We only stayed for a few days, but it was a lot of fun (except for the humidity --> We met a couple from Texas who told us, "It's about the same temperature here as it is down by us," and I thought, "OH NO!").
I hadn't noticed this on my previous trip to D.C., but there were BUMS everywhere. Where I live, there are no bums...in Manhattan, there are bums. But these were lazy bums; the bums in Manhattan are always doing something, whether they're preaching religion, playing the saxophone, washing your car, holding out a beer can while saying "I ain't tellin' you no lie, folks, 'cuz I be collectin' yo' money fo' beer." The D.C. bums lie in the streets all day.
I took a lot of nice pictures of famous buildings and such (Capitol building, Washington Monument, etc.), and I'll see if I can somehow get them onto my computer (I don't have a scanner). I think my favorite part of the trip was when we went to the Spy Museum. In that museum, we were told to pick a "spy identity" from a list and memorize the facts about our alter-ego. Later, they quizzed us on those facts and if we passed we got a mission. At the end of the museum, they asked us about the mission and if we answer correctly, we became successful spies. Throughout the museum, there was a lot of spy history and other interesting things. It's worth going to. Current Mood: tired

Today was a great day!
In the morning, I had the English Regents (not so great) but it wasn't that bad and I finished early. After that, I went bowling with some friends.
We had to walk to the bowling alley. And...we all made it there alive, after crossing two crowded highways. Then, we were joined by (surprise!) George. After that we bowled two games (I didn't do so well ><) and went go-carting.
On the go-cart lanes, I turn into a demon. A SPEED DEMON, that is. But Jenny beat me...terrible, terrible. At least I beat Gali (a lefty I corrupted, I mean...saved).
After Crystal left, we went to the arcade. George and I combined money and bought a player's card thing. And we spend all our money on this one super-addictive game: it's that game where you put a token in the slot and it shoots out onto a moving platform that pushes the coin against other coins to try and make those coins fall so that the players get tickets. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! We won 345 tickets and managed to get a lot of prizes, which included hackysacks.
I'm not very good with hackysacks either. Current Mood: rejuvenated

I saw "Star Wars" for the third time today. It's getting to be a bit of an obsession. But...the movie is really /that/ good; that I can see it three times and not be bored of it. Episode III just gets better, and better, and better...
I can't wait until the box set of all six episodes comes out! Then, I will spend the day just watching "Star Wars." ^--^ Current Mood: refreshed
|Friday, June 10th, 2005|
I handed in my psychology project today. It was a movie I made about abnormal psychology and psychological disorders. I showed it to my parents and...they liked it! They told me it could use some improvements (such as character development) but that it was the best movie I'd made so far. And, then laughed in all the right places--in fact, they laughed more than I thought they would. That just means it was a really good movie!
Arie was in it, too! *Pokepoke.* She was a paranoid schizophrenic ("Can't you see their horrid little squished bodies?!"). Ja ja, Arie did well! I can't wait to show the movie to everyone who was in it. I want them to like it, too! Current Mood: pleased

|I copied this from Squirrama! Thank you!
1. Think of the first word that comes to mind when you think of me.
2. Go to Google and search for that word (an image search).
3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the first page of results -- don't tell me the word.
4. Put this in your own blog so that I can do the same.
Oh, I can't wait to see what things some of you will come up with... Current Mood: mellow

|Obi Wan Kenobi, I want to have your baby!
On Saturday, after the Junior Prom (dancing, blah, blah) we went to see...STAR WARS! Now, I'm not THAT obsessed but it was a really cool movie. I love Obi Wan Kenobi! He's so hot! ^___^ SQUEEE!
Current Mood: amused

|Milk my goldfish.
| Swamp Island |
Nightmare scales: Panic: 62%. Dread: 50%. Lampreys: 31%.
are the SWAMP ISLAND. Kind of like a desert island, but with rain and
plenty of springs. Basically, you're a glob of mud sitting in the
middle of the ocean. (The reason you have such a low lamprey count is
the leeches crowded them out.)
You are lush and fertile... but whiffing of decay and home to clouds
of gnats. On the other hand, to a drowning man, you look like paradise.
Capitalize on that.
SEEK: rebounders. AVOID: loggers.
| My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: |
|You scored higher than 81% on panic|
|You scored higher than 33% on dread|
|You scored higher than 3% on lampreys|
Zenithfoxie had that test on her livejournal.
I haven't posted in awhile, because I've had alot of work to do. I took the SAT and the Psychology AP (I love Freud!), so things have been pretty stressful. Gomen nasai! I'll try to post more often now! Current Mood: crazy

|The Blind Turtles!
SAT course yesterday:
[Background: There's a long-existing feud between our SAT teacher and the regular classroom teacher, because the regular teacher writes unimportant notes that take up half the blackboard and then writes 'do not erase' above them. My teacher gets annoyed because then she can only use the remaining half of the board.]
[Jenny and I walk into the empty room.]
Me: Oh, look! The board's empty.
Jenny: I guess the other teacher didn't leave any notes...
Me: [Lightbulb!] You know what that means!
Jenny: Are you thinking...?
Me: Yes! We should write 'Do Not Erase' on the board!
Jenny: Okay, I'll write it. [She writes the message across both sides of the blackboard and puts a little star under it.]
Me: Oh, and we should put a post-it!
Jenny: Where are they?
Me: Dunno, let's check the desk.
[We search the desk.]
Me: Found the post-its!
Jenny: They're not sticky!
Me: Put some tape on it!
Jenny: [Puts tape on it and writes 'or else' on the post-it].
[We put the post-it under the message so altogether it reads 'DO NOT ERASE' 'Or else.']
[Later, our teacher enters.]
Teacher: WHAT?! Not again!
[We're both trying hard not to laugh.]
Teacher: Did you two write this?
Jenny: Of course not!
Me: It must have been the other teacher.
[Later still, at the break.]
Jenny: Okay, okay, we really did write it.
Me: Actually, it was all Jenny. I didn't write it.
Jenny: But YOU came up with the IDEA!
So we got away with it; our silly practical joke. Trust me, you have to do SOMETHING to make those SAT courses more interesting. Current Mood: giddy
